The Jewish Defence League of Canada is demanding that the TTC remove the sign that reads, “There is no god but Allah (and) Muhammad is His messenger

TORONTO, April 16, 2012 /CNW/ – The Jewish Defence League of Canada is demanding that the TTC remove the sign that reads, “There is no god but Allah (and) Muhammad is His messenger”.  The organization responsible for the add is called  Islamic Infocenter.  That same group   supports groups and persons that preach Terrorism.

The JDL investigated the website belonging to Islamic infocenter and found the following links:

  • Good websites on Islam:

Islamic Research Foundation and Peace TV:

Zakir Naik: “Peace TV”‘s Calls for Terrorism

Dr. Zakir Naik is a 44 year-old Muslim preacher born in India.  Zakir Naik is distinguished by one characteristic: incitement and support for Terrorism through IRF and Peace TV.   Incitement, by calling on Muslims to become terrorists and supporting Al-Qaeda, is not protected speech in the UK, Canada, or India.

Naik most recently gained wider attention in mid-June when the British authorities banned his entry to their country. Canadian authorities followed the British example by cancelling Naik’s multiple-entry visa, thereby preventing him from appearing live at an Islamist mass meeting in Toronto.

The Muslim World League:

Backgrounder: Muslim World League

The Muslim World League (MWL) is a Saudi Arabia-based international organization that promulgates a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam around the world through a large network of charities and affiliated organizations.

While the MWL has on several occasions condemned terrorism in general terms, it has a long history of providing financial support to terrorist groups or having organizational links to them, including to Hamas, Abu Sayyaf group, Moro Islamic Liberation Front, Jemaat al Islamiyya, and Al Qaeda.

The MWL also provides a platform for inflammatory speech, including anti-Semitism. For example, Sheik Yusef Qaradawi was invited to speak at the MWL’s First International Islamic Conference on Dialogue in Mecca in June 2008. Qaradawi, a radical Muslim Brotherhood ideologue who openly calls for violent jihad against Jews and he praises Hitler.

The JDL calls on the TTC to remove the radical Islamic sign now.  The JDL calls on the public to join our campaign to confront and expose the danger of radical Islam in Canada.

*JDL* Press Release: Section 13 of the Human Rights Act

December 18, 2011

For Immediate Release:
The Jewish Defence League is monitoring an appeal that got underway in Federal Court in Toronto this week scrutinizing Section 13 of the Human Rights Act, which says it’s discriminatory to spread hate messages online.

The case pits so called human rights advocates against defenders of free expression.

Vancouver-based Alan Dutton helped lobby for the 1996 creation of the B.C. Hate Crime Team that brings together law enforcement, Crown prosecutors and provincial bureaucrats to combat hate crimes.

Dutton argues abolishing the law will embolden hatemongers to re-organize and strengthen the white nationalist movement in Canada.

“The danger here is that they’re going to believe that they have fertile ground now,” said Dutton, who chairs the Canadian Anti-Racism Education and Research Society.

It has come to the attention of the Jewish Defence League that the group Canadian Anti-Racism Education and Research Society recomends the public on their web site for to watch Al Jazeera for International News. It is the position of the JDL that Al Jazeera promotes hate and a radical Islamic position.

We recommend:
Aboriginal Public Television Network (APTN –
Rabble TV
Public Broadcasting System
Al Jazeera (international news)

Section 13 has become a tool for groups that promote a radical Islamic agenda.

August 3, 2011

Last month we heard how one lawyer, with a small law firm in Israel tied up and prevented the “2nd Gaza Flotilla”, essentially by suing or threatening to sue them and their suppliers/supporters for their terrorist links and actions.  Nitsana Darshan-Leitner has been suing terrorists and those who aid and abet for almost fifteen years, with real success.
