*JDL* Parsha & Weekly Update

And Noach did all that HASHEM had commanded him, and Noach was six hundred years old and the flood waters were upon the earth. And Noach came and his sons and his wife and the wives of his sons with him into the Ark because of the waters of the flood. (Breishis 7:5-7)

Because of the waters of the flood: Even Noach was from the small believers. He both believed and didn’t believe that the flood would come, and therefore he didn’t enter the Ark until the waters forced him. (Rashi) Think about this hard.

Does anyone remember that just a few years ago, many Jewish leaders misled the Jewish people on the issue of North American Islamic support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran? Please review the following:

“I never thought I’d live to see this day in my life,” Bernie Farber of the Canadian Jewish Congress said of the twinning of 50 synagogues and 50 mosques in Canada and the U.S., including eight in the Toronto area this coming weekend.”

“The goal was to get 25 mosques and 25 synagogues,” Rabbi Marc Schneier, president of the foundation and also chairman, World Jewish Congress United States, told me over the phone. “The response was overwhelming.”

“Almost concurrently, a full-page ad appeared in the New York Times, heralding the “milestone event” of twinning. The ad was sponsored by Schneier’s foundation (ffeu.org), the Islamic Society of North America (isna.net), the Muslim Public Affairs Council (mpac.org), and the World Jewish Congress (worldjewishcongress.org).”

“In the Toronto area, the Solel Congregation is twinned with the Islamic Centre of Canada, both in Mississauga; Temple Emanu-El, North York with the Noor Cultural Centre, Don Mills; Temple Har Zion with the Jafari Cultural Centre, both in Thornhill; and Beth Torah with Lote Tree.”

Last weekend, ISNA rolled out the red carpet for iERA (Islamic Education Research Academy) to hold a conference. The conference was first to take place at the Sheritan Hotel Toronto, but was cancelled because of information supplied from the Jewish Defence League. iERA is a hate group. Please review the following report:

Canadian local media is reporting on a controversial conference associated with the Islamic Society of North America being held in Mississauga, Ontario. According to the report, critics of the conference have accused the sponsors of anti-Semitic and anti-gay remarks and one of the conference organizers suggested that the Jews were behind the 911 attacks:

People who spread hatred about others are not welcome in Canada.
That was the message a group of more than 75 peaceful protesters delivered today at the Canada Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) mosque on South Sheridan Way, where the “Calling the World Back to Allah” conference was being held. The full-day conference is part of the Canada launch tour of the Islamic Education and Research Academy (IERA), a British organization seeking to establish a presence in Toronto and Montreal. They say the conference was held to build bridges amongst Muslim communities in Canada. Jewish Defence League National Director Meir Weinstein said he and other groups came out for one simple reason. “We don’t want those individuals, who believe in hatred, coming into Canada,” he said. “They’re looking for a fertile country for radical influence. “They’ve said things like ‘Jews are cursed,’ among all kinds of different hatred. “The bottom line is, this organization is coming here from England trying to set up here,” he said. “In an Islamic state, there’s no freedoms. Iran is not a beacon of humility or light.” IERA describes itself as a global “dawah” organization that’s committed to presenting Islam to wider society. Allegations of speakers making anti-Semitic and anti-gay remarks resulted in the IERA’s conference being cancelled at some venues, including Toronto’s Sheraton Centre where today’s event was originally scheduled. “This has to be exposed and confronted,” said Weinstein. ISNA staff confirmed the conference was taking place there all day, but at the same time, sought to distance itself from the event. “ISNA is not organizing the conference. All we’re doing is providing a venue for the event,” was the response to an inquiry. IERA head of communications Saleem Chagtai said the protesters demonize his group’s speakers. “We’re reaching out and we’re not interested in hate,” Chagtai said. “We’re interested in moral discussions.”
He said media reports that link them to hate allegations are taking their words “deliberately out of context … stereotyping. It’s very much not like that.” He also said his group was disturbed by the Sheraton’s decision to oust them. “We don’t think that’s fair,” he said. “It’s very unbecoming for a multinational corporation to cancel.” He defended the IERA’s stance on homosexuality, which is looked upon as a sin by his group. But that doesn’t give “anyone a right to taunt or treat them any differently than anyone else.” One of the IERA speakers, Malaysian convert Hussain Yee, has said “the Jews” are “the most extremist nation in this world.” He also suggested that Jews perpetrated and celebrated the 9/11 attacks in America. People from various faith groups carried Israeli flags outside the Clarkson area mosque. They also carried signs that read “Stop Islamic Racism.” The protesters represented Canadian Hindu Advocacy, International Christian Voice, the Canadian Egyptian Congress, the Costa Christian Mission and Lakshmi Narayan Hindu Temple. Peel Regional Police officers were at the scene to ensure crowds stayed controlled, but most of the protesters appeared peaceful.” The Muslim Brotherhood supporters shot a video , they do not like the JDL very much…
Blazing Cat Fur had a recent write up about the danger of Iran establishing a base in Canada. It should be understood that Bernie Farber, in the past, has tried to silence Blazing Cat Fur.
Sass noted this connection from an article I linked to earlier, and deserves full credit.CASMO home of Toronto’s David Duke Lovin Nazis is headed by Reza Hosseini Nassab, along with his cohort Seyed Mohammad Rizvi.

Both Nassab and Rizvi are founders of the Ahlul Bayt Assembly of Canada.

The Ahlul Bayt Assembly is funded by Iran via the Ahlul Bayt Foundation – Ahlul Beit Foundation, a radical Shia Muslim proselytizing and political lobbying group run by the Iranian government. Ahlul Beit already runs around 70 Islamic centers around the world, and has, as its primary goal, the promoting of the religious and political views of the Islamic Republic of Iran…
Ahlul Beit is especially focused on spreading Islamic Sharia law beyond the Middle East; its centers in Africa and Asia, for example, have been used to radicalize local Muslim communities. In a typical quid-pro-quo arrangement, the organization offers money to the poor who then convert to Shia Islam and are subjected to religious training by Iranian-backed Imams. The group has been banned in at least a dozen countries.

They’ve done a good job compromising local political figures like Barbara Hall of the Ontario Human Rights Commission and their links with local anti-semitic organisations such as Zafar Bangash’s Islamic Society of York Region are well established.

Why are they allowed to operate in Canada? Especially in light of Stephen Harper’s recent vow to get tough on Iran?

One more point, there is a very large Mosque at 9000 Bathurst St. it is lead by one of the leaders of CASMO.

So much for the interfaith nonsense from Bernie Farber. Now is the time to wake up. And now is the time to get busy.

  1. Mr. Meir Weinstein,

Do you support the massacre of those innocent PALESTINIAN civilians that your boy, Baruch Goldstein gunned down?

Can you clearly condemn the massacre, the mass murder, that was orchestrated by a member of the Jewish Defense League.

I understand you have never done so.

Say it isn’t so, you don’t support mass murder against Palestinians do you? Can you clearly condemn the Hebron massacre, by your fellow JDL member, Baruch?

Also, can you claim or refute the CBC when they noted you were a member of the banned, terrorist group, Kach?
