An Open Letter to the Hon. Jason Kenney regarding Federal Funding for Palestine House

May 24, 2010

To the attention of the Hon. Jason Kenney MP

It has come to the attention of the Jewish Defence League of Canada that Palestine House will lead an anti Israel protest against the planned visit of PM Benjamin Netanyahu to Canada on Sunday May 30. According to the emails from Palestine House, Israel is being called an ‘apartheid state’ and the PM of Israel is called ‘a war criminal’. As a Jewish Canadian, free speech is a right for every citizen of this great country and free speech is not the issue that I am writing about. The issue is misuse of Federal Funding that was given and still is being given to Palestine House for the education of new immigrants. Palestine House teaches hate and their Federal Funding should be cut. Please review the following email from Palestine House.

Thank You,

Meir Weinstein National Director Jewish Defence League of Canada

And similarly you find, “If only My people would listen to Me, and Israel would walk in My ways, I would immediately subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their tormentors. (Tehillim 81:14- 15)…
